About the Role
As an Advisor (Account Manager) at BCU, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their personal insurance programs are structured to meet their evolving needs. You will collaborate closely with our carrier partners, leverage your expertise to provide tailored risk management solutions, and proactively cultivate long-term relationships with clients and referring partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients, providing strategic guidance on personal insurance coverage.
- Manage the day-to-day servicing of client accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
- Partner with our internal team to market and secure the best solutions from our leading carrier partners.
- Lead renewal discussions, policy reviews, and client meetings, identifying opportunities for program enhancements.
- Collaborate with referring partners, such as wealth advisors and estate attorneys, to provide a seamless client experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends, underwriting guidelines, and market shifts to proactively advise clients.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of personal insurance experience, preferably within the high-net-worth space.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of personal insurance coverages, including homeowners, auto, umbrella, and valuable articles policies.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess complex risks and craft creative insurance solutions.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with Applied EPIC or similar agency management systems is a plus.
- Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a dynamic, client-centric environment.
